Using data from the company I provide insight into performance of the building of phone masts. This involves me producing dashboards and reports to create visuals that can be understood by all levels. Most days are spent producing these reports, using various tools such as excel and power bi. I also have 1 day a week on college work where i have either college sessions or independent learning.
My communication skills have improved dramatically, this is due to vodafone being such a big company and having to network to get information necessary to my tasks.
I love the programme! Even though i started in a national lockdown i have felt incredible support, ive managed to create friendships with other apprentices just like i would in the office enviornment. It goes above and beyond any expectations i had for the job.
The mentors and buddies i have received from vodafone have been amazing at helping me through the programme so far. I loved the induction at the beginning as it introduced us to everything we needed to know, and gave us some time to get settled in. I feel like the college side of things however is less organised as the support i receive from blackpool isnt always great, resulting in sometimes having to teach myself.
Vodafone has been great at supporting me so far! The buddies and mentors have been brilliant at reaching out and ensuring i am okay. If I have any problems I feel happy to go to them or my manager and they are quickly resolved.
The college sometimes struggle to answer questions clearly, as it seems most of the presentations they use are built off searches on the internet. I also sometimes struggle to get a response regarding questions.
So far i havent used anything ive learnt from college in my role.

Yes
Vodafone have been great at supporting their employees through the pandemic, providing updates when they can and making everyone feel like we are still working as a big team even though we are not in the office.
Read up about the other stuff that Vodafone does, there's a lot more to this company then just phones!
