I let the delivery driver come through with the pallets of chilled/ grocery and frozen. As a team we’d come together and put the chilled delivery out first, then send items back that can’t go out. Then tackle grocery and do the same and the same with frozen, then when the delivery is finished we’ll start putting out the overs.
Yes, I’ve learnt how to be consistent with stock replenishment, I’ve learnt how to be punctual and I’m more professional on the shop floor.
I enjoy finding out new information about retail that I didn’t know before, and facing the challenge of completing my work before a deadline.
I believe the programme is clear and visual and guides learners a easy way to understand how to navigate themselves through the modules.
My manager always supports me, he’s easy to talk to if I’m finding a module hard. He also has his own knowledge about retail which benefits me.
My trainer is always reliable and would always help when I’m stuck on a module or don’t know how to upload a document.
I believe it gives me better knowledge about how retail works higher up the ladder, so if I was to become a duty manager/ supervisor I would know the key facts about what’s expected of me

Because the staff are flexible with sharing hours, it’s a nice atmosphere to work in and you can start a career if you put the effort in.
I would tell them to always try to be consistent with their work, have a positive attitude with customers and be enthusiastic.
