Depending what shift I’m on either morning or evening. Morning I will serve a buffet style English breakfast and of an evening I will cook from a set menu by the company also I will check the kitchen is in running order like fridge temperatures and stocks are counted.
I have learnt a lot from working and from my apprenticeship. From working I’ve learnt how to be fast and to keep up to Pace with demand. From my apprenticeship I have learnt more and gained more knowledge on what I already knew.
I really do enjoy doing my apprenticeship they really want me to succeed and be able to do my best at everything also I’m not rushed if I need more time or more support my apprenticeship lady is always happy to help where ever it is needed.
It’s organised very well I know well in advance when my next session is going to be so it’s easy to schedule also I am told what we will be covering so I can go on mylife and revise and learn what is on there ready for my sessions.
I do get a bit of support when I need it if I have a question or need help there more then happy to try and help me.
My trainer really does push me and really shows that she wants to help me get the most out of my apprenticeship. She doesn’t rush me to say answers I get time to have a think if I don’t know it. It will be explained and then asked again later like a little quiz
I have learnt more then I thought I would through this apprenticeship and it does help me perform my tasks at work a lot better. As now I think about the costs, diversity, and how to keep people safe as I do my day to day job.
