My job role is a grill chef. The jobs I do is cooking, cleaning, prepping and sometimes putting the delivery away. I also sometimes do the breakfast shift too.
Yes, the company have provided courses for me to learn. They have taught me easier and better methods of prepping and cooking and taught me new skills on health and safety.
I very much enjoy my program. My trainer is very kind and supportive and helps me understand things in an easier way. The resources are very informative and covers all that I need to learn.
My program is exreemly well structured and organised. They put information in sections that are titled. The website that I store all my work on is very organised too. It does take some getting used to the website layout first though.
I get a lot of support from them. They're willing to put time into me and my learning and they push me to be the best that I can and to keep climbing and learning.
I get a lot of support and encouragement. My trainer helps me understand and runs through each section with me to make sure I understand everything and if there is anything I don't understand she finds a way to help.
It gives me the necessary tools and information to confidently do my job. It'll also give me a degree at the end of the course that I will be able to take anywhere I go.
Yes there are a few social media pages that you're able to join. I have joined their page called glow which talks about lgbtq+ people within the company and things we can do to provide support to the community.
