My role involves working with various clients in order to complete internal audit tasks.
Yes, I've gained a lot of confidence in interacting with clients. My business skills have also improved.
I do enjoy my programme as it gives me the opportunity to gain the ACA qualification faster than if I'd have gone to university. In addition, the people I work with are great.
The people I've worked with are all appreciative regarding the work I do for them.
There is a very good structure from PwC. However, the exam structure set by Kaplan is not good at all.
Assuming this mean Kaplan, not good at all! The tutors themselves are helpful but there is very little help as most of our studying is done remotely. In addition we are given very little time to learn and revise the syllabus.
I receive I lot of support from my buddy, people manager and the people whom I work with. I've never felt unsupported!
Salary very generous, especially for my age. My salary is a little higher than others due to my location which helps to cover the high rent costs.
There's always opportunities at PwC of all kinds (sports, social, charity, recreational etc) which are easily communicated to everyone via email.
Yes
Great programme if you know what you want to do.
Research the application process in orer to be fully prepared. Ensure you've thought about what questions might come up. Use the PwC website as this aims to be as helpful as possible. The onboarding process is great, take advantage of these opportunities to meet other apprentices in the firm. Take advantage of other opportunities in the firm so that you're doing something other than work occasionally. However, don't take on too much! Ask questions!
