I was a Transmission Engineer who's primary focus was logically building Netwokrs RAN Sites and onboarding new projects.
I have learnt CCNA and some key cisco networking skills.
I really enjoyed my programme and the people I met.
The whole programme was very structured and organised. I always knew what topics and assigments were next and how this related to BAU for me.
I received all the support I needed. It was standard to have 1 day per week on Apprenticeship tasks / assignments.
I never received any extra tuition however the standard of teaching was perfectly acceptable. All the tutors were very knowledgeable in their field.
I have now since moved role however it has given me a much better business grounding which has translated into my new role.
I was involved in the Corporate Games through Vodafone which was brilliant, new initiatives such as "F**k up Nights" in which they bring in external supplier to talk about mistakes and how we have to grow from them.
Yes
I truly believe this is a brilliant company, the culture it's built only inspires me to work harder and want to continue my journey at VF.
