Carrying out scheduled maintenance, repairs, breakdowns and installation work. These tasks are carried out under struck health and safety format supervision that allows me to work safely and confidently at my work place.
At William Hare I have learnt a vast amount of new skills I use on a daily basis. These consist of an advanced level I have learnt on electrical and mechanical engineering, not just that but my confidence and social skills have improved massively from my apprenticeship.
I thoroughly enjoy every week I spend working at William Hare, not just as an employee but as a team working on advanced machinery and equipment, everyday is a new exciting day that involves a multiple of new challenges to overcome and solve.
My programme is very well organised, my entire college and NVQ courses are set out very thoroughly and well presented, not just that but my daily tasks set out in my workplace are full of new exciting ways of learning and are structured around a well balanced working environment.
The consistent help from my employer have been a massive help for a young man like myself, not just help received on a work basis but life matters also, this is helping me to become a well educated and polite individual.
The college I attend to acquire my qualifications have been fantastic in all aspects, especially with an ongoing pandemic. We have received the outmost help in gaining our qualifications during this difficult times.
The college and NVQ assessors have helped provide us a good advanced understanding and more towards our role, I find that hands on experience at my workplace has helped the most in my learning experience towards my role as a Maintenance engineer.
Due to Covid restrictions we have had a delay towards our charity walk for mental health sponsored by William Hare.
