My role as a cabler involves providing new fibre cable to customer premises
Learnt how to cable, safety procedures, working in the UG network
I enjoy my job a lot as every day is different working with different people in different places
Very well structured with regular review periods and support from the assessors
My employer gives me a great deal of support with regular reviews and study days to ensure we are on track
My assessor ensures I am on track with my NVQ work during regular calls and helps where needed
It gives a sense of achievement knowing you are working towards gaining a qualification along side the payrise
Social activities, sports teams within my patch. Days out (pre COVID)
