  • Developed existing skills by going more in depth through the use of my apprenticeship.

  • I wish we had some more hands on lessons, I have struggled with what has tm be done. But I don't know how much of that is due to the pandemic.

  • I don't find the online portal(s) very user friendly. I think they could be simpler in order to make them more accessible and easier to navigate.

  • My line manager has been fantastic, but the HM has shown little interest.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Again, I have struggled with the motivation of completely independent learning, but I am unsure of how independent it would ordinarily be.

  • I hope to be able to put my developed skills into practice soon, but unfortunately even when I am working, there aren't as many opportunities too put my developed skills into practice due to the regulations.

  • Not at present, but there aren't as many as I would like usually.

  • Yes

  • They are generally a very supportive company, wanting to improve their teams and own methods.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Whitbread?
  • Be honest, be open and don't worry too much about your previous experience. Providing that you are a hospitable and friendly person, you'll fit in great.
