1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role involves working on the reception, checking guests in and making sure they have an enjoyable stay at the hotel. I also work in the restaurant and the bar as well taking orders, serving food and drinks

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I definitely have learnt new skills and it is a great training programme which has kept my skills up to date. I have developed existing skills like customer service and also learnt a lot about food and drink too

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have really enjoyed it and have learnt an awful lot, which I was not expecting to do. It has been a great experience and I will take forward everything I have learnt

It is extremely well structured and there is enough time to succeed

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have been supported all the way through and it has helped me a lot

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have had a great amount of support and everything has been explained to me whenever I have any questions. Also very promptly,you don’t need to wait long for a reply to any queries

It has given me confidence in my abilities knowing that I have the capability to do my job to the best of my ability

There are usually some social events for staff to go out
