  • Through my apprenticeship I have learnt about the legal requirements and responsibilities the business has to adhere to and how we stay compliant. I have been able to develop my people skills through interacting with guests and other staff

  • I really enjoyed my apprenticeship, I had a lot of support from my trainer.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The learning programme was very well structured. I knew which modules I needed to work on and where I could find the information. The only part I found hard to find was the information on assessments.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My Hotel Manager supported me throughout my apprenticeship. She gave me extra responsibilities so I could learn more about the business.

  • My trainer was fantastic, she kept up to date with me every month and supported me when I was struggling.

  • I have a deeper knowledge about why we have policies and procedures in place and where this adheres to the law.

  • As a company we raise money for GOSH and thus can include group events
