  • Developed my communication skills. Still lack confidence in my own abilities.

  • Struggling to learn due to lack of motivation. I learn much better hands on rather than reading/writing notes. I learn through experiences and pushing myself out of my comfort zone,learn through making mistakes

  • Struggled with the website layout in the beginning,but now I'm used to it and find it quite simple to follow

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Initially not much support unless I request it regarding the apprenticeship. I don't feel I have been shown areas of the business (eg kpi's) which would help reinforce the knowledge/skills I am learning. Within the business I feel valued by my managers

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Don't feel I get much feedback regarding my work that I have submitted. Remote calls are straight to the point,which I like

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Not sure it does. I don't feel I have learnt anything that I didn't already know. My communication skills have improved which is a positive. Its helped me realise there are a number of ways to lead a team successfully

  • There is within the company, at my site there is the odd team night out, charity tombolas

  • Yes

  • I love my job. I do feel Whitbread could provide a better team member recognition scheme, provide more discounts to team members

  • Provide passion for guest service/experience
