Aircraft engineer- Following completion of the theory side of the course, it was on the job training. A task book containing various tasks, component location and servicing of systems, needed to be filled out under supervision, before the final exams and assessments commenced.
Structural assembly and repair of sheet metal and composites. Marine engineer and production.
It’s work, but rewarding.
It was well rounded, steps weren’t so clear following completion.
The Navy were thorough with examinations and learning the correct knowledge was clear from the off.
It was direct, and they ensured you understood the process
Well, it has many aspects in engineering it can branch off.
Gliding, many aircraft events-air shows and spotting

Excellent training and a very colourful work experience.
