  • My role is to help costumers with all their needs. Provide all the information needed during their stay and where is their room located . Answer phone and be available to solve all issues. As a receptionist I manage all booking when costumers arrive or when they book it through the phone.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have leaned how to communicate with guests and how to stay calm when any issue come along. This job role helps me to build my confidence and be professional. I will learn how to manage bookings and how to deal with costumer though the phone and i keep learning new things everyday.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • In this program I learn different things such as how to deal with costumers, all legislations related to my job role, how to meet costumer needs and all other information I need to know to become great receptionist. Also it helps me to improve my English knowledge and much more.

  • It is organised very well as I can see all the different learnings I need to know and also it is quickly accessible with makes it even more great as I can use anywhere I am. It has all different types of sections which makes it easier to find and learn

  • My employer is great and helpful as I get all the help I need . They provide me with all the information and help I need to complete this program. When I am struggling I can always count on them and every time I am guaranteed to get help with what I need.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Every time I am not sure about anything I can always go and ask them as they are happy to help. She always helps me to understand each sections and what all the questions are about. If I am not sure about something she explains it so well so I can understand it

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • As this is my first time working as a receptionist it helps me a lot as it gives me the full training I need to become successful at what I do. It gives me all the knowledge i need to know and how to deal with costumers and communicate better.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there are. We as a team go out for a Christmas celebration every year. This helps us to bond together because it males it easier to work with them. I am sure we have more activities to do together. However I am not aware of them as I don't work there too long because of the pandemic

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Yes I would definitely recommend working for premier inn because all the staff there is so friendly and helpful. If there is anything I need I can always count on my team. This is the best place to work in with all the team and it makes me love my job.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Whitbread?
  • Probably the advice I would give is probably not to be nervous and not to stress because the staff there is so friendly and helpful. And not to worry about their first interview because it will just fly by and it is just like a friendly talk with the managers.
