Every day is different from the one before. We are fully involved with day to day managing of the site, meeting tenants/clients/contractors on site, attending client meetings, setting service charge budgets, chasing arrears, site inspections, letting vacant units, writing reports. The list goes on.
People skills have massively improved, working in an office, problem solving, English and Maths skills, speaking on the phone, understanding how to explain over the phone that you will get back to that person at a later date with the information they require.
I enjoy it so much. I learn every single day and anything I learn in university I can then ask my employer to show me a real life example of in work. Some of my best friends are my colleagues, it is a really social and welcoming team.
Very well structured, we have 20% off the job training which is either at university or online. Mine is online so one day a week I work on university material. If we need help there is support around in the form of colleagues or module tutors.
A lot, the people I work with are some of the experts in their field and so it is amazing to draw knowledge from them. My employer wants me to succeed and they ensure that the apprentices across the business discuss and support each other too.
Lots - we can put in calls with our module tutors where they call you specifically outside of the webinars that are put on and they can help us in this way. There are Whatsapp groups and forums to further help consolidate learning and support each other.
It crosses over all the time, as mentioned earlier I learn something at university and then either ask or see it naturally at work. Equally the information I am learning through doing my job is then backed up by the e.g. legal information I learn at university.
We have a netball and football team. The team is very sociable and there are lots of networking events for all ages and especially for younger people. There is also organisations set up in the city centre for young people from different firms to meet. There are also lots of client events.

It is a great company, a global company that despite being large ensures that every person is felt included and known. There is so much experience and support from every level of individual. I have felt supported my entire journey and everybody is so friendly whilst working for a well known name. The ethics / pillars / values can be researched and it is very true the company aims to reach these and works in line with these.
Research about the Company and role before you go to the interview so that you have an idea if you are asked about it. Get as much experience as you can whether it is work experience or actual job experience, it doesn't matter. Be as relaxed as you can to let your personality come across - it is as much about your personality as what is written on paper.
