University and placement 3 times for 3 months for first two and 5 months for the last placement, placement takes place in one office in the UK. You work alongside the asociates at their level, working for managers, senior managers and interacting with the clients in the clients office. You are given tasks to do in the audit of clients, which you recieve coaching on.
You recieve a degree at the end of the programme and because ICAEW qualified. Training is recieved yearly before placements and one the job trainig is given as well. Many skills are developed such as confidence, interpersonal skills, knowledge, organisation and working to targets.
You get the university life whilst also going on paid placments, so you get the best of both the student/working life.
You recieve a lot of feedback whilst on placement allowing you to feel a valued part of the team and to see your efforts recognised. You are given a lot of independence when set on tasks allowing you to learn and progress qucikly.
The programme has been going for nealr 12 years, therefore the structure is very well thought out. You recieve normal lectures in university and coaching hwilst on placement. There's lots of support as you have mentors/tutors/buddies.
There's lots of support at university as you have the university facilities and a tutor, then on placment you have a people manager, buddy and champion who are all there to help and support you.
There are many people on placement to give you help and support as you have designated people you can go to or people your working with or your job manager.
Salary is very good for a student. Accomodation is paid for whilst on placement, all business expenses are reinbursed e.g travel.
There are social events put on by work, like office drinks, students ball. You work quite a lot because it's companies year end, so there's lots of auditing to do. But outside of work you tend to socialise with other people on placement in your year and the other years, or go visit uni friends in other cities as all your year are on placment at the same time, but spread over offices all over the UK.

It's a good foundation to your career and shows your a hard worker.
It's not easy so you have to be prepared to work very hard. You have an assessment day to get on the course, after applying on UCAS, don't stress, they make it really chilled, as long as you research the company and audit, you'll be fine.
