Associate. Daily tasks: variety of audit jobs, not just the basic stuff - now pushing onto higher level bits such as inventory and revenue. Very client facing role, interacting with client staff and directors as well as PwC managers, senior managers, directors and partners. Responsible for significant part of the audit file. Working on business development projects
Improved Excel skills, social skills, understanding of business processes and how accounting systems capture it
Good balance between university and work. Company is good although recognition for overtime would be good.
Fairly. Becoming increasingly well known (the course) by the office so colleagues understand us better. Managers are appreciative in general of my contribution
Good structure. High workload at university and on placement. But solid support mechanism in place
Not really used this much but confident its there and would be useful
Good interaction with people manager and buddy.
Given we don't pay for accommodation I'd say fairly well. But it is far below what people doing the same workload are being paid in the company. Pay should increase each placement to reflect the greater responsibility undertaken
Yes, these are offered occasionally but participation is very difficult given workload in busy season. Would be good to be able to dedicate more time to these
Yes
Good perks (benefits) and generally very pleasant people
Being balanced is important - sociable and communicable as well as intelligent and hardworking. They will make you work hard for your money!
