Housekeeper. To ensure rooms are clean to a high standard and prepared for customers, cleaning bathrooms, changing and making beds, hoovering and ensuring correct toiletries are in place. To ensure high standards are met to exceed customer expectations.
New skills I’ve learnt are linen, coshh and how important it is for all departments in a hotel needs to have excellent communication with each other to meet customers needs and expectations. I am also learning reception to gain further skills which is developing my customer service.
I am enjoying my programme, it is giving my more knowledge and skill set to progress further within the company.
It is very organised and structured which is giving me a plan each month to complete and have full support in doing so
My employer has exceeded my expectations in giving me the support I need. They are going above and beyond in supporting me to achieve my goals. I am being trained on reception to help me with my course and giving me the experience I need.
As much support as I need, always there if I need them and providing me with extra revision guides to prepare me.
I have a lot more understanding and hospitality and the way the company works. I have discovered different acts which are used e.g proprietor act and have a full understanding of different phrases and safety measures which are used.
We have different social events throughout the year which we can attend e.g bowling and going out to restaurants.
