  • Front of House Receptionist for a large hotel chain. Meet and greet guests. Process check ins and departures. Complete health and safety checks. Responde to emails. Log any complaints. Raise maintenance issues.

  • Yes, I have learnt a lot of IT skills such as, Using different programmes to access guest data. Using maintenance software to raise maintenance issues and log invoices. Housekeeping data storage. Health and safety programmes. I have developed strong customer service and team building skills.

  • My training provider have been extremely supportive. She encouraged and supported me, built my confidence and helped me to believe in myself.

  • I feel that I am more confident in decision making, leading a team and conducting myself professionally while providing and raising health and safety needs of the team and the hotel.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes. Team members are recognized for their efforts. I was chosen to attend an afternoon tea with my managers and regional managers, where our hotel was awarded for most improved. The company also holds an annual festival where team members can be selected to attend.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • The support I received towards achieving a qualification has been the best I have ever had from any training providers within wales. I would be keen to embark on another course with Lifetime Training, and I would recommend them to everyone.
