Manning the reception desk, checking in guests and helping in any way possible. Banking money taken during the day and submitting end of day finances. General cleaning and housekeeping jobs, as well as hourly checks to ensure the silent night guarantee is upheld.
Customer service has always been my field. But many skills have been honed or relearned, such as the banking, and the computer systems which we use.
I am finding the course extremely informative, and I am enjoying the experience.
The current climate is an extremely odd one, so face to face training is sadly out of the question. But I feel the telephone one to ones, are a very valid way of getting around the current issues.

Not really. And with me working nights. This would limit my ability to participate sadly. But especially with the current pandemic. Such activities would be negligent in the extreme

Whitbread appear to be a company that actually cares for its employees. Something that is sadly all too rare.
Be yourself. Be honest. If you have health or mental issues, be open about them. Honesty is always the best policy.
