My role as a Bid Officer is to take control, manage and facilitate bids that have been identified by the Client Managers. It is my responsibility to ensure the process of bids are sufficiently maintained from meeting deadlines, to ensuring that the quality of our work is to a winning standard. I apply my personal skills such as communication and time management to tie in with my roles and responsibilities.
As a Bid Officer, I have learned to become more resillient in the work place and I understand that things will not always go to plan. I have learned to manage my time and people skills much more efficiently and effectively. Becoming a Bid Offier has boosted my self-confidence and and around the work place.
I am coming towards the end of my level 4 apprenticeship and I have enjoyed learning and applyinf all the skills I have learned. I previously completed level 3 and I have been able to further develop my skills into level 4. I use the skills I have learned and apply them in the work place.
From the outset, my apprenticeship course was organised clearly and effectively. I knew exactly what my programme entailed and i always felt comfortable seeking further guidance if necessary. Each unit was marked appropriately and feedback was given. The feedback was very insightful. A very well organised/structured programme in total.
I received lots of support from my employer when necessary. Roke are very supportive of young careers so I always felt comfortable seeking support. I strongly recommend those that are seeking apprenticeships to consider Roke Manor Research Limited as they offer excellent support and guidance throughout your career. Very Happy.
Totton College and my assessor always provide support to me when I reach out to them. They never leave me in the dark and answer and queries or questions i have as soon as possible. Totton College have demostrated excellent support skills throughout my level 3 and level 3 apprenticeship.
My level 3 and level 4 business administration apprenticeships have taught and developed skills that I can reflect into the workplace. Business admin covers a broad range business aspects which are excellent for for those who wish to get into business roles from a young careers perspective. I recommend business administration.
Roke Manor Research offers many extra-curricular activities for us employees to get involved with. Personally, i take advantage of the five pound gym membership fee for the gym the have on sight. I can get in early to work to have a workout or stay on after work for a work out.
