I manage a small team making sure they reach targets. I manage the reception team and the housekeeping team. Monitoring scores on spotlight to make sure the team follow brand standards to give the best product to our guests.
Payroll, forecasting, managing a team. I developed existing skills in understanding how to manage different types of people.
It interesting and I learn new things all the time. New skills I can use on a daily basis that I didn’t know I knew or understood before.
Very well organised and structured. I’m aware of what I should be learning at what point.
I do receive support but sometimes it’s hard to gain full support when my manager is busy managing two hotels.
A lot! It’s great knowing that a trainer is always available to help should I have questions or problems.
I’ve gained new skills that I didn’t know about. It’s really helped to develop me as a manager and leader.
