My daily work consists of general admin such as MI, collating information for those above me and answering different queries from Financial Advisers
I've improved my networking skills and also gained a lot of knowledge on investment and product wrappers i.e. SIPP, ISA, GIA etc., financial advice and platforms
I enjoy joining with a group of people since we are all in the same boat, can share our experiences and what we like or maybe dislike about our placements.
I would've preferred a more structure traineeship programme i.e. have at least the first 6 months planned out for you and your role. However, lots of good support, studying is paid for and really welcoming induction
I haven't personally had to access too much support outside of my team/manager but I know it is easily accessible and you're fully supported when needed
Our qualifications are fully supported, we receive reading materials as well as Fitch Learning studying app which has recorded lessons. Designated mailbox for booking exams etc.
My qualification helps me understand the investment industry as whole which is the foundation of the business.
We have networks that will organise these activities that everyone is able to get involved with
Yes
Great support, great benefits and there is the ability to move around and expand your knowledge in all different areas. Each individual employee I have come across is extremely helpful and generous with their time in helping you
Communicate with manager prior to start date and see if there's anything you can read (if you want to) to help with starting in the role
