The theories behind learning and development and different design models to understand the processes and why we do things in a certain way and understanding what I need to consider when developing content. Knowledge in how to evaluate the impact of learning and the importance of this.
It's been extremely beneficial for me in my role, I feel like it has really increased my confidence when dealing with stakeholders in the business which was always a key area of improvement for me. I have gained a lot of professional knowledge from this apprenticeship.
Completing the knowledge elements of the CIPD on Avado learning provided a really structured learning experience with the units split into weeks and assigning a timing allocation really helped me organise my learning. The apprenticeship side has been very organised, I always know what I need to do and when to do it.
I have received a lot of support particularly from my Director, where I have needed support to obtain her input or review documents to load to HIVE she has done so very quickly allowing me to continue working through.
My apprenticeship tutor has been really supportive, each call has helped me to put things in to perspective and understand my next steps as well as anything I raise that I need support with. It's always been clear that further support is also available if needed in between calls.
The knowledge gained from the qualification is really supporting me in my day-to-day role to make the decisions I need to make confidently and be able to relay this to stakeholders to gain their confidence in my ability as well. I have a deeper understanding in the industry and why we do certain things.
There are events throughout the year planned in to raise money for charity with TCT and a team building day takes place in summer every year to get the department together.
