Reviewing client accounts in particular areas (Balance sheet, profit & loss, etc), conducting sampling, documenting support received from the client and also working on internal EY activities such as presenting EY's research and knowledge in areas showing growth and innovation.
My skills in excel have particularly improved in being able to do particular tasks more efficiently and also my knowledge in accounting and assurance from working and learning while I'm on the job.
I have enjoyed the programme thoroughly in how I've been able to apply my knowledge and build upon it while working and knowing my work contributes to something bigger.
The programme is well organised in allowing for necessary training sessions, proper working time and the length is shorter then that of going to university.
The support given by my employer is great with being provided equipment to use in and out of work such as a keyboard and chair, also in being able to discuss if I have any worries and being able to resolve these in a timely manner.
The support is significant in providing days to study, the thorough sessions in both preparing for my exams and the work I am and will be doing.
I feel the qualification allows me to better understand the work I am doing and vice versa which has proved helpful for my first exam and getting through my first client carrying knowledge forward to my second.
There are socials for the new joiners to interact with the second and higher years which has proved helpful with the situation in having to work from home.
