On a day to day basis I am communicating with my team and the client whilst working on various areas of the audit.
I have learnt the importance of how quality is more important than quantity with each and every piece of work that is completed. I have learnt an enormous amount since joining EY.
I do enjoy the programme however the jump from sixth form to working full time is a huge leap which in turn means sacrifices have to be made. However starting work 5 days a week gives me structure and I am really enjoying it.
I think that EY's programme is very structured and organised. As a first year joining a firm with no prior knowledge/ experience the transition was relatively easy and I think the structure to the first few months was very good.
I have felt a lot of support from EY since I started. I was having a few issues at home and my counsellor and manager were very understanding which really helped me feel at ease.
First intuition were very impressive with their support. We were told that we could email/text at anytime throughout our training and leading up to the exams.
The training is giving a basic understanding to the core principles but I do not know if it necessarily helps me to perform better.
There are so many different social activities and professional networking events at EY.
Yes
I feel like it is a company that does really care about it's employees.
Just be yourself and confidence is everything.
