I've gained telephony skills in my limited time at EY which has definitely in-turn improved my confidence and communication skills. I have also completed various internal training to gain various new skills.
I enjoy the variety of work on offer. Every project we work on is different to the last! I also enjoy the balance of university as well.
At the current moment, the programme hasn't been particularly well organised or structured however I believe this is a result of the pandemic and the challenges of working from home.
I receive a lot of support from EY whether it's project work or University work, there's always someone to talk to! Regular meetings with my counsellor are beneficial as well.
University have been very helpful in a challenging time starting. They provide a variety of extra sessions as well for various skills that aren't specific to our course, like referencing, critical writing e.t.c.
I believe my qualification helps me improve better as it helps me to understand my role in EY more and inspires and guides me to be a better leader.
There are various virtual events available at EY however it is rather challenging at the moment to run any extra-curricular activities with the pandemic!
Yes
There are many reasons on why I recommend EY but the main one is the values of EY. EY aims to create a better working world by completing meaningful and purposeful work. Something which I felt I could contribute to.
Do your research but most importantly relax and be yourself!
