  • Job Title - Associate. Daily tasks - Performing an audit of various areas of a clients balance sheet and P&L. Attending meetings. Daily Interactions - Internally with the rest of the team and management. Externally - daily contact with employees at the client site.

  • Developed communication skills, management skills in terms of jugglying numerous projects and jobs.

  • Really enjoying getting such hands on experience and getting a wide range of responsbilities.

  • As we get feedback from each job there is always internal recognition.

  • Well structured with lots of support and the neccesary training in place.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • Tutor has contacted to get in touch regarding support and help whilst on placement.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Lots of support from mentory and my HR team.. however very limtied support from my people manager, there could be scope for improvement in this area by having specific people managers for 'flying starts' which understand the pressures of placement.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Very well, as have no accomodation costs as I am living at home.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • There are company activities and events including group socials, however as we are working in busy season the amount of them is limited. Therefore an improvement could be more scope of voluntary initatives.

  • 9. Would you recommend PwC to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • It is great to be able to put the theory you have learnt in the classroom into practise whilst on placement. By getting a degree and experience you are getting valuable experience for your CV.
