I work as a housekeeping manager at Premier Inn Old Trafford. My role involves in training team members and dealing with guests. I would start my day with checking the business needs, make a boards for each team. Then I would do my health and safety documents, also I would spend some time with team cleaning th3 room and ensuring they have told that they need.
Yes I have learned about food and beverage on ground floor. I have learned in the lock down how to deal with crisis management. I have learned how to train and manage big te of 25 team members. I have learned about recruitment policies and procedures. Back of house pay roll and many more
I do enjoy my program because it helps me to understand my business in a deeper way. It makes me think more about situations and how to deal with them. Before I was just doing it with thinking what is right, now I would adjust every situation at work to one of my program
It is very good at organising times and calls in this not easy days for all, as before we would spend a day in the meeting room, but now it is all om video call and I find it more relaxing and easy to access for everyone without the travel.
Currently all my employer on their furlough, but when I did had them by myself side it was very easy, I could ask any question and they would reply to me and give ideas and examples of each task. My manager is very supportive and understands my strengths and weakness
A lot. I could ask the most silliest questions there could be and he would reply to me in a seconds explaining it on easy English language. I had about 4 different trainers and each of them been fantastic and supportive. I find it very easy and enjoyable working with them
It helps me to perform better because it teaches me all different ways and styles of work life. It teaches me to understand people better and how different they can be. It helps me to deal better it tough situations and adjust to the work life. I k ow exactly how to act
Currently we don't do any activities, we hardly coming out of the house, I haven't seen my colleagues for a year, all we can do is to go for a walk snd enjoy our video call.
Yes
Because it is great company to work for
I would say if you really really want it you can get it. All it takes is passion and being hungry for a role. You need to perform well and care about what you do. People will see it stray away. I would recommend this company to all my family and friends
