  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I was lucky enough to be involved in various projects within the company. As Realise is the new name of the business it has been great to see all the different projects and strive forwards the company and the Senior Leadership team have been working on during the last 12 month as we grow.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • To start with i was nervous about the Qualification and the projects involved as it was out my comfort zone, however with the support of my Manager and Tutor I have developed so many new skills and confidence that i can apply in my role but also in my day to day duties which is fantastic.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I love my work my role and my colleagues, During the Covid Pandemic the senior leadership team reacted extremely quickly and as a business we developed which was great. The new values of the company motivate and drive the staff to deliver Outstanding sessions not only to our learners but for the staff as well. The company supported me during COVID with clear direction and guidance.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The Induction orgaised by by trainer was excellent as was the training, the Tutor changed from face to face to remote learning which was a new way of delivery but it really worked. My Manager got involved and supported me with study/time and mentoring. The programme is well planned and tutor support is vital during the exams which was really helpfull.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My Employer Realise are very supportive and encourage us all to develop our skills in so many ways, the delivered Zoom and Teams training to us all to ensure we could continue with qualifications remotely and provided extra support sessions when needed. The company are great are supporting with any issues and have dedicated personal available when needed.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The training provider were amazing during this period of a Covid Pandemic, the Tutor Paul was always available online and often called to touch base and check my mental wellbeing, he was very understanding of how difficult it was during Covid and always offered extra support and sessions when needed. I don't think I could have continued without the support

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Having learnt so many skills during the last 18 month it feels refreshing. I utilise different skills daily and now often do them without having to think about it. I can multi task more better now and am able to identify areas that need addressing more quickly than before. My day to day role has improved as well as my confidence on scheduling and planning.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • During Covid my work have arranged various catch ups, both on a professional work level as well as social events. My team have Zoom meetings to discuss how we all are and able to interact and support each other. During covid I was supported in running 50 miles for Maggies Cancer Research. As a business we are currently travelling round the World to raise awareness and support MIND charity which is amazing, we are collating all the miles we run walk cycle team REALISE can do to support and have the backing from the Senior Leadership team.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Realise to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • They are so passionate about the training and are able to support on a 1-2-1 basis or as a group. Nothing I ask of them feels like it is hard work. Communication is great and they really do as they say and put the right learner on the right progrmme and support them fully.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Realise?
  • First tip for me would be remember the name REALISE, a passionate company who really do trust and believe in the staff they employ. They fully support you from the application and induction and create opportunities for people that leave you feeling supported and confident of achieving your outcomes. The company are great and leave you feeling like you want to do more qualifications and strive to get better
