My role is a deputy hotel manager, and I'm looking after payroll, managing maintenance labour and linen budgets, managing housekeeping and reception team. Taking care of finance and Health and safety checks on a daily bases, and make sure the hotel is COVID-19 secure.
Yes! Able to look at business from a manager point of view, managing team, understanding needs, learning different type of people learning skills and understanding. Able to react quickly certain situations regarding danger or any sort of guest complaints, team issues with a professional manner.
Its very detailed, included reading and activities and also videos to make sure the topic is fully understandable. My trainer has work in my industry and know my business - how we operate and policies and it makes so much easier to explain what happens, and can relate more then others.

they have all the material we need and helping with calls/emails or more regular sessions if necessary.

Be opened and honest, sometimes you don't need experience to do a good job, but the right behaviour and passion sometimes is more important
