Im an Early years practitioner so i look after children on a day to day basis, this includes changing nappies, feeding them, playing with them and educating them on life and every day things, educating them on right and wrong and letting them spend time with their friends and having fun
I have learned more technology skills as all my work is online and writing things up onto files so i have gained more experience using computers, i have also gained more social skills as i talk to someone once a month on my course who guides me and helps me along the way and speaks to me about things
I really enjoy it as i am gaining new skills and knowledge as well as getting payed, someone is always there to talk to if i’m stuck on the work set to me and also if i’m finding my job a bit difficult too, The work set to me is always enough and i never get set too much work on top of my job.
It’s really well organised i have regular chats and meetings once a month which really helps as i know where i am and how to plan when to do my research on the tasks that have been set, i also get told before hand if i am doing any extra webinars so i can plan it with my work
I get lots of support as my employer revived the same emails sent to me on what tasks have been set to me so she will look through them and ask me if i need help on what has been set to me and give me some information if i need it
I receive lots of support when doing my work as my training provider speaks to me monthly and asks me if i am struggling with anything and if i am she gives me extra support like setting me extra information to look at so i am more knowledgable on what i am stuck on she also lets me have another try if i get things wrong which really helps me.
I gain lots of knowledge that i can then use when i am at work, my training provider also gives me more advice on what i am already doing and let’s me know how i can do better and achieve a lot more at work and gives me extra curricular to attend to improve myself
I join extra webinars set to me that are provided my people who are high up in the qualification i am working towards so i am gaining more information that i wouldn’t of been told by joining these webinars that are provided by my training provider and so i am progressing more easier
Yes
Because they have friendly training assessors which make everything easier as you know you have someone to talk to, the work is set appropriate and doesn’t make you feel overwhelmed as well as working all week too, if you are unable to achieve something they will provide extra learning for you to make sure you achieve the best
Be negotiable and hard working and always be up for a challenge and always be ready to succeed at everything you do and be prepared to learn lots of new information on a monthly basis, I also would say be punctual and have a can do attitude for learning and
