Line of Service - Corporate Tax Working in busy client teams helping to prepare them to give advice to clients in minimising and improving their tax bills. Varied challenge of work.
Yes. Confidence has increased as I feel a valid member of the group in working in all types of environments. My presentation skills have also improved and have been able to build upon these as the weeks have progressed.
I love the role I have in my team. Straight away I was given responsibility and feel like I was actually helping my team. Possibly different to how apprentices feel in other businesses.
I felt valued from my first day. As soon as I joined I had an introduction to the office where everyone was welcoming. Then I was straight into helping the team. I feel a big part of the team, instead of just an assisting role.
Very. I know the layout of my next 2 years and feel comforted by the fact I know what to expect.
Emails continuously about what to expect/ the programme etc
I have a vast network of support available in PwC. And i know who to contact when I have a question/problem in all types of situations.
I feel the salary package is very competitive and good for my age.
Yes. There are vast network systems. Plenty opportunities to socialise outside of office hours and also various committees such as Sports and Social Committee.
Yes
Because I feel the whole PwC experience is great. The opportunities available are endless and I feel getting into such an iconic firm early on my career, or anyone's career, is great. I would recommend it to anyone who is keen to launch a career in professional services.
Be yourself. The firm loves diversity and all different types of people. If you try to be someone you are not, they will notice it.
