A project management degree apprenticeship encapsulates what it means to be a PM along side what it takes, learning the theory and putting into practice, monitoring and governing projects to leading and implementing the desired outcomes a project aims to deliver. No 2 days are the same.
I have developed endless new skills, even if its just development of IT skills, I have gained confidence in taking to new people, managing my own work packages and many many more competencies this degree apprenticeship aims to instil in you.
I really enjoy my programme, it is a very different, and hard route to take but the benefits and sense of satisfaction over write all the hard work and long days
I was part of the first ever cohort on this degree, so things took a while to understand, however no the plans and actions are clear and the next steps understood.
The employer offer formal support once every 8 weeks, however support is always there if needed, mentally, or physically, support is always available
we have gained a lot of support, once again the support is always there if you reach out and ask
Not all degree aspects help in a day to day, due to the way rolls Royce operate, but having the industry standard can help provoke new ways of thinking which has proven useful
we have many rolls Royce teams, such as sport, we also have language classes and many local things in each team you may work
Yes
it is an amazing company to work for, I have enjoyed my time there and would love to continue my career here
- do research - be honest - be prepared - the interview is about you, and how you would fit in rolls Royce so be honest as they are trying to establish if its the right fit for you
