  • A project management degree apprenticeship encapsulates what it means to be a PM along side what it takes, learning the theory and putting into practice, monitoring and governing projects to leading and implementing the desired outcomes a project aims to deliver. No 2 days are the same.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have developed endless new skills, even if its just development of IT skills, I have gained confidence in taking to new people, managing my own work packages and many many more competencies this degree apprenticeship aims to instil in you.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy my programme, it is a very different, and hard route to take but the benefits and sense of satisfaction over write all the hard work and long days

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I was part of the first ever cohort on this degree, so things took a while to understand, however no the plans and actions are clear and the next steps understood.

  • The employer offer formal support once every 8 weeks, however support is always there if needed, mentally, or physically, support is always available

  • we have gained a lot of support, once again the support is always there if you reach out and ask

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Not all degree aspects help in a day to day, due to the way rolls Royce operate, but having the industry standard can help provoke new ways of thinking which has proven useful

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • we have many rolls Royce teams, such as sport, we also have language classes and many local things in each team you may work

  • Yes

  • it is an amazing company to work for, I have enjoyed my time there and would love to continue my career here


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Rolls-Royce?
  • - do research - be honest - be prepared - the interview is about you, and how you would fit in rolls Royce so be honest as they are trying to establish if its the right fit for you
