My role is to check the main system and bring up any issues and try and resolve any errors that arise, whether that be from a system point of view or a plant view.
I have learnt multiple new skills on SAP which allow me to advance in my job.
I really enjoy my programme because I learn with a lot of hands on experience rather than just being shown what to do on a computer screen.
My programme is quite well organized and structured, and I tend to know what I am doing on a daily basis.
I receive a lot of help from my Employer and from a lot of the work force.
I get some support of my training providers but tend to turn to my Manager, Mentor or the Site Apprentice Co-ordinator for most help and support.
I feel that the qualification I do is adequate to assist me in my position, however it doesn't cover every base because my current position is not something that providers tend to have a scheme for.
There are multiple different activities for us to get involved with including: Sports and Social Club, Wins (Women in Solenis).
Yes
I believe overall it is a brilliant employer that is very structure and very clear in what they require. They made it clear from the start what they required and had a very good process of allowing people to see what they would be experiencing should they be successful in achieving the position.
Some tips I would say for those applying to Solenis is to be yourself during your interview and your time there, I would also say to show an interest in not only what you are doing but also in ways of bettering the company in some manner or show willing to learn and develop off your own back as well.
