Associate level auditor. Audit the financial statements of clients at year end to ensure they give a true and fair view of their profit, cash flows and affairs at that time
I have gained a further understanding of how audit work is performed and got to experience how it is to work in a team and cooperate with clients
I had a pleasant time considering the current remote working environment. It involved a lot of late nights and stressful days especially close to signing, but that is part of the job.
Very well organised. We were given an in depth training and had a clear understanding of the process of the placement. Had meetings with our mentors and had an understanding of the team hierarchy
We were given in depth training and plenty of resources and people to reach out to if we needed (career coach, buddy, managers, IT, HR, etc). Also received weekly mental health emails for support. Good attitude towards supporting employees and solving issues in general.
I had a great career coach who supported me throughout my placement. I also had good coaches on each of my engagement teams, who helped guide me through the work and provided me with a lot of useful knowledge to help with my qualifications
I have been able to see everything I have been learning in practice and see how the actual day-to-day work is performed. Observed the relationships between the engagement teams and the client. Obtained further understanding of the business environment and my role
There are multiple company events, social events, fundraisers happening each week.

PwC is a big firm with many small and big clients, which gives the opportunity to work on different types of clients and different industries. The people of PwC are extremely helpful and friendly, and there's a lot of support from the firm to its employees
It is not an easy job, especially in the big and busy offices such as London, however it helps you gain a lot of exposure and experience. Get familiar with the firm's values and professional framework, and gain a good understanding of the job you are applying for.
