On a day-to-day basis I am responsible for coaching the junior members of the team, liaising with client contacts and ensuring the tasks are performed timely.
I am studying for the ACA qualification. This role has also helped to develop communication and professionalism due to the large client facing nature of the job.
The company culture is very inclusive and supportive. My teams are constantly there to support and push me to reach my goals and full potential.
The progression of the program is very clear and structured. Exam pathways are also organised on your behalf throughout the programme to ensure that you keep on track.
When you first join the firm you are given a buddy to support your transition into the firm/your new role. You also have a counsellor who helps you with any problems you may face and aids you in meeting any goals/career progressions.
Some parts of the qualification help me in my day to day role (i.e. accounting related modules). However some modules (i.e. tax) are not relevant in my day to day role.
Yes there are many networking events and sports teams to get involved in. There are also social events with your engagement teams in order to socialise with your colleagues outside of work.

EY has a very supportive network and provides you with amazing experience whilst you are progressing through your exams to qualify.
During group assessment days ensure to participate and get involved as it is important to show that you can work well in a team of people you have never met before.
