I am an intern trainee, it was my first placement with PwC this year, and it lasted for 3 months. I was auditing financial statements to the client i was allocated to, during my placement.
During my first placement i believe that i learn new things, as i now have a greater view of what audit is. Also, i have build new relationships with my team and my client.
I really enjoy my course, i like the fact that i get the chance to work with such a big company, learn new things and get to apply what i learn in the university. Also, to study at the same time to become a qualified chartered accountant.
My programme was very organised, as during work i was trying to have a balance between work and my personal mental health. I was trying to have small breaks each day and never missing my lunch break.
My team, all of them were very supportive and caring. They all understood that was my first placement, as they were very patient with me asking many questions. Also, they were all very helpful and guiding me for the best outcome.
My training provider was supporting me from the beginning of my first placement. He was always asking me how my placement was going, if i needed anything and if i had any questions.
My qualification through my training provider helps me perform better, as he knows exactly how to guide me step by step, and what is best to do, in order to achieve my goals.
With my team we were always organizing 4pm fun games, each time choosing different game, just a small break from work was needed and get to know the team better. Also, we had a social event with the whole team and the managers.
