I work within an engagement team doing the simpler tasks in the audit, this might include basic accounting exercises, or more admin based tasks.
I've developed a lot of confidence since starting the job, my communication skills have rapidly improved. my knowledge has improved a lot aswell
I enjoyed learning new things and getting involved in more complex parts of the audit.
Jobs are well organised, the transition between clients is important ands i found having a meeting to explain what the exact status of current work is important and helped me stay organised
I'd receive nearly daily email about well being and health this indicates they do really care, they also promote a caring culture, joining morning meeting i was always asked how i was and there was always time for the team to have a casual catchup.
Any questions i had were normally answered, i had a range of people i could ask if i needed to.
The qualification has helped a lot with the knowledge aspect of my job but i think the practical side isn't addressed fully. Spending time in university using accounting software would help massivly.
Yeah my inbox was full of invites to well being events and team building excercises
Yes
The culture of PWC is great everyone is so helpful, even working from home i felt very comfortable talking in meeting and putting my point of view across
Work hard, study hard and you'll fly, be confident in asking questions and try to add to your team.
