My Day to Day job consists of setting up connections to this that matter , aka , our customers. On a normal day I prove light to MDR units from patch divers , I also prove these reach a required destination , for example your home or business building like an office or even a home studio.
I learn something new on the job most days , I would say I have learnt the basics so far and I strengthen my knowledge on these things very single shift , I enjoy picking up information and making connections between aspects of work, this keeps my mind ticking everyday on the job!
I love going to work , as for the program I believe it is excellent , creating real opportunity in such a crazy workplace! We are the backbone to the country running smoothly and allowing business to go on day to day, this fills me with pride knowing I am at the forefront of it
The structure to my on the job and off the job is as clear as it could be. I am assigned tasks clearly with enough time to complete them , my work on the job is explained thoroughly and I can expect what’s to come during that week of work wich helps.
My employee is always on my case asking if I need any help or support wich is really comforting and an employee , knowing that if anything was to go wrong or if I was stuck with anything I’d know who to contact and be able to do so comfortably
During my classes I receive as much help as I need and they are knowledgeable and able to help every time, however for my off the job tasks etc to be completed I do believe they could give slightly more direction. As sometimes I am a little confused as to what admin to complete
I believe having technical knowledge helps , being able to draw connections from theory and practical hits helps a whole load. This can make aspects of work more clear , knowing the workings behind them and why certain things do what they do this makes the process a whole lot easier to get through
Yes we are always looking in the community for ways to help and get involved for example I had real fun a few weeks back with my colleagues offering a helping hand at a sports certain. It felts really good to give back and give purpose to someone / something in the community I work in!
Yes
I could list hundreds but For reasons all my previous answers explain , i al yet to leave work thinking bad things or drained from being there , everyday is upbeat and I thoroughly enjoy it every single day without fail ,I do love my job and the people I work with here at Virgin!
Do no stress and be yourself , it’s not about who has the most brains or who has the nicest steel toe caps here. We all chip in our individual specialities and skills to get the job done, and that’s why I love it “team work makes the dream work” is the saying and it comes to life everyday on my shift!!
