  • I over see the running of a school kitchen providing food for 1500 students. Managing 7 staff. I complete a monthly stocktake and I place weekly orders. I have regular meetings with my on-site client.

  • I’ve learnt how to tackle HR problems, and how to have job chats with staff members, this has lead to some positive changes.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy, learning and the one on one classes with my tutor. I find them helpful with my day to day job.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I find the structure of the course is really good. It’s divided up into sections and each section is completed before you move onto the next.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My line manager is always there to help me, and point me in the right direction to gather evidence/ answers. She has also joined some on my online classes.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My tutor is fabulous. She replies to my e-mails straight away and rings me if necessary.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I’ve found the course really helpful, especially with some of the HR problems I’ve had. The lessons also gave me confidence to be able to tackle difficult staff members.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Elior to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Elior are a big catering firm providing hospitality to several different areas. I work within education but have also done overtime within the stadiums that we provide catering for. I’ve also received lots of training which have helped me with promotions


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Elior?
  • Always show enthusiasm and work hard, you will be given good chances.
