I work within the IMT team in the BRS field. I work alongside my team helping them with their cases that they are working on. My tasks vary a lot which keeps my enjoyment levels high. From having to file some documents to having to deal with angry creditors on the phone.
I have learned a lot of new skills and found that there is a lot of people who are there to help you develop. My confidence level have gone sky high.
I love it. I think it is the perfect mix of studying/work. You get the best of both worlds as one week you are working and the next you are studying. On top of this, you are getting paid for doing something you enjoy.
I feel very valued. PwC makes you feel welcome straight away and you will begin to notice that at one stage in their life, everyone you are speaking to has been in your shoes so they know how to treat you to ensure you feel comfortable in your new surroundings.
I feel it is very structured. It is very clearly set out and explained to you when you will be studying/when you will be in work. It gives you the oppurtunity to gain very valuable experience while still being able to gain qualifications.
A lot. They are always on hand if you have any questions and will do all that they can to support you.
My employer is very supportive. They will always ensure you are spending enough time on your studies but also ensure that you are learning on a day to day basis in the work place. Giving you tasks that will challenge you and develop your skill sets.
For myself, I relocated for this job from up north so therefore I was very apprenhensive about the money side of things. But I feel its a very lucrative package for what you do. In some essence you are being paid to study. The choices scheme is a fantastic way to gain extra holidays - which for me living away from home is perfect.
Although I've not spent a lot of time with the firm I have already made friends for life. From my induction week I have kept it touch with several of the people and we have organised night outs etc with one another in our different locations.
Yes
Its a fantastic firm to work for. They give you the oppurtunity to travel the world while doing something you love.
Be yourself and be confident.
