Trustees Apprentice. My day to day role involves, administration, reporting and liaising with external customers. My responsibilities have grown day by day and I am currently responsible for reconciling our assets to our clients.
I have improved my skills on all Microsoft products as I have to use these on a daily basis. My telephone manner has also improved due to my role. M&G are extremely good at offering training courses in order to improve your skills.
I thoroughly enjoy the programme and it has allowed me to enter in to a great industry. The apprenticeship scheme has offered me the chance to build a career within the Financial Services. My team are very welcoming and I have settled in extremely well to the friendly environment M&G provides.
I feel extremely valued within my team. I have been handed more and more responsibilities which helps me develop within my role. There is also the opportunity to move around the business once you have finished the apprenticeship scheme.
My personal view on the scheme is that the idea of the scheme is very good. From personal experiences, there are improvements that can be made in regards to the resources for exam preparation and there have been signs that they are improving. The support from the team has been brilliant and you don't feel like there is a hierarchy within the team, everybody is approachable and more than happy to help you.
I changed provider within the first couple of months and since then, the support has been excellent. There are monthly meetings and constant updates from the training provider.
As previously mentioned the support is really good and have helped me develop in my job role.
The salary and packages meets my cost extremely well.
Due to my team and job role, a lot of our business is external and therefore we are invited to many client events. M&G also offer plenty of opportunities to network, with summer and Christmas parties alongside sport and social events.
Yes
It is a great opportunity to gain experience within the financial sector and gives you the opportunity to build a career within M&G.
Go for it. The application process does have a few stages but they are great for experience and is for your personal benefit. I found M&G to be one of the better application processes that I was involved in and are always contact you regardless of the outcome.
