i am a site engineer currently working on an asset replacement job at spennymoor. my day to day job includes watching over the operatives, ordering anything that is needed for the job and carrying out alot of problem solving
i have become more confident in competing with people and being on the phone
when i am at work i do enjoy it at times however the apprenticeship has took a serious toll on my life outside of work due to working away and lack of flexibility from the company
there is no organisation or structure in any form of the words for our programmes noone seems to have any idea what is going on
up to the moment in time we have recieved no support from our employer there mind set seems to be just throw you around and if you dont like it leave.
there is no support by anyone within the college or workplace. college want us to do coursework on site and the company want us to do it in college so very little is getting done meaning were are behind in everything we do
the qualification we are doing has absolutely nothing to do with what we are doing on site meaning there is no side by side comparison with coursework and site work
there are however working 170 miles from home and 11/12 hour days allows for very little personal time.
No
have had nothing but let down after let down with this company. unkept promises, very little support, being left to feel replaceable and that your worthless to the company. if it werent for COVID and the lack of jobs going at the minute i would have been gone after a month.
