  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a lot of support from my employer, I was assigned a workplace mentor who is my line manager now. He actually did the same programme 5 years before so he knows what's expected and knows what support I need. He has guided me through work when I've struggled and helped gather workplace evidence.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive lots of support we have meetings every 6 weeks one to one including my workplace mentor to track my progress and just a general catch up which gives me a chance to ask for support if I need it. This also gives me a push if i'm ever running behind on pieces of work my training provider can give me advice or extra training materials.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Gaining this qualification has helped me within my role, because I've learnt stuff I would never get the chance to do if I just came into the company as an operator. I have HACCP Level 3 so i'm aware of safety risks and food safety hazards around me that i wouldn't have known without my qualification.
