  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Due to the nature of my apprenticeship programme, I had flexibility in when I completed my learning. I had deadlines for each of my assignments, but was able to learn at my own pace. Working with my line manager, we agreed what time would work best for me to study and what would happen to my workload when I did.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My level 5 CIPD qualification allowed me to deep dive into different elements of HR. • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, on site there is a gym and free classes that are available to all employees, within HR we have an annual conference where the whole HR community comes together to look at our successes, as well as team building followed by a formal dinner and evening event. This meant we could network and socialize with other people within HR.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Nestle to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Nestle is a large multinational organisation with many opportunities to grow and explore. Everyone I have met and worked with are more than happy to help you with whatever you need. Due to the nature of the organization, you can work in a central team or work specifically for one of the many brands which means there is so much to experience.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Nestle?
  • I would say first and foremost to be yourself. As an apprentice they do not expect you to be an expert, but to be ready to develop yourself and your knowledge. Research the organisation and the brands that are part of Nestle as this shows that you are engaging and passionate
