as a technician apprentice in the second year we start our placements, we spend three months in different areas of the business. along side this we have started our foundation degree. day-to-day includes meeting new people and forming working relationships.
i found that i have grown as a person aswell as developed skills, when comunication with different people across the business it is very easy to learn how to interact properly.
I enjoy the apprentiship very much
very well organised, the apprentices and everyone involved in managing the apprentices are in their own department. this means that we are all included.
we receive alot of support, we all have group weekly meetings to catch-up and to be informed of any news happening within the business.
we gain alot of support, we are at the college weekly and we see our leacturers for an queres, they are also available to us during the week though online means.
everything we are learnng through our qualification helps in the day to day work, it allows for a better understanding of the technical work we do.
not that i have found yet but during the COVID_19 pandemic I am sure they have all be suspended for the time being.
Yes
although the work is hard the salery and the pension scheme is extremely good, it is very rare to find the two at a better rate anywhere else
ensure that you have good time management skills, the work load is large.
