I am placed in 4 different placements throughout my apprenticeship. I am currently working remotely as BAE Systems looks after the welfare of its employees
From having little knowledge on Excel To now having a basic but thorough understanding including gaining and using new functions in the software.
I love my programme. It gives me an insight to a large organisation but still have the qualities of a small business, in the sense that each team are close together and work collectively
My programs is very well structured. Collage days are spaced out giving enough time to submit assignments. My placements are equally spread out ensuring a gain a thorough understanding of each function
My immediate team are very supportive. Along with my team I’m assigned a skills coach who guide me through the apprenticeship
I have been given training sessions and full weeks in training to ensure I meet my qualification criteria
The assignments within my qualification broaden my knowledge of the business world enabling me to preform the best I can
I have not come across any of the above before. However they do have an apprentice council
Yes
The reason I’d recommend BAE Systems is due to there ethics. They also hold good morals and there are plenty of chances to progress in your career at BAE Systems
Even though the requirements for grades are low I’d recommend pushing and doing extra activities to have a better chance. For example, NCS ,EDOFE and many other activities which will help you to get an apprenticeship at BAE Systems
