  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Currently at university and will start working on placement with PwC next year but so far the work I have had to do has been very useful and a good challenge

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Developed lots of social skills and confidence meeting so many new people. We have also had professional skills lectures that have greatly improved my existing skills in this area

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme has been very enjoyable so far and I am excited to start working with PwC. The work has been challenging and the other people on the programme have helped to make it very enjoyable.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by PwC?
  • They had to give me a placement location I didn't want, but treated me very well in doing this. Went put of their way to reassure me it would still be good and provided a lot of support. This made me feel very valued.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme has been running for a number of years now so PwC know what works and what doesn't work, therefore it has been very organised.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • very good support programmes in place such as having a mentor from older years and a tutor.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Received lots of support when given placement location that wasn't one of my preferences

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I am not getting paid yet however I will be next year and PwC will be paying my parents a very reasonable amount to cover the cost of me living at home while I am on placement. In addition to this I will receive a fantastic salary for someone my age and on a placement.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Lots of social events for all the people I have met so far on my programme

  • Yes

  • Treat employees very well and are very supportive. Great people work for PwC


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • To prepare well for it with questions that may be asked but to just relax and express themselves. Try and enjoy the occasion as it is a great chance to show how good you are
