I support teams within the office, carry out administrative tasks and take part in training
I have increased my proficiency in Microsoft office, I learnt to take minutes, diary manage, finance procedures and accounting fundamentals
I have had an amazing time working with different teams, watching and learning from the people around me and overall gaining confidence
I think that there could have been more communication between my employer and the college to help keep everyone in the know. However, overall it was a good programme
I have received an amazing amount of support from my employer and everyone within the team. It has been wonderful. I can always and questions and ask for help where necessary.
I received a good amount of support from my training provider. I did feel like there could have been more clarity on certain aspects of the process discussed earlier, but overall I am happy
I understand the fundamentals and theory behind a lot of the work I carry out, which helps me complete my tasks to a higher standard and understand their importance.
There are many different Microsoft Teams activities available to us to join. It is definitely useful for having a break and catching up with other team members
Yes
The university really care about their staff and is filled with wonderful people that you can learn from but that will also help you on your work journey
Ensure your skills are in line with the position you are applying for or at least demonstrate you have the willingness to learn. Familiarise your self with a couple of aspects of the university to stand out as it is an enormous organisation
